“When we have people pushing/supporting us we realise that we can do things that we never dreamed possible before” Anonymous

Meditation Sitting

You have likely heard the story about Roger Banister and how in 1954 he was the first person to break the 4 minute mile (3:59.4). But did you know that just 46 days later Bannister's record was broken by his rival Landy in Finland (3:58) and today Hicham El Guerrouj of Morocco set the current world record of 3:43.13 on July 7, 1999 and over 500 people have run the mile faster than 4 minutes.

Statistical models predict the mile record could further drop to as low as 3:39. But future breakthroughs in training techniques and other factors, such as supportive technologies, the participation of new groups of people as the sport further globalizes, could theoretically lead to even lower times than that.

We’re applying the same principles to wellness.
